At The Humble Travelers Foundation, we see everyone as a traveler — moving through life's transitions, carrying unique stories and strengths. We bridge cultural divides, honor diverse journeys, and create spaces where people connect as equals.
"This is not about fixing anyone; it's about walking together, weaving generosity into daily life, and strengthening the whole through humble partnership."
The Humble Travelers Foundation is a Portland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that activates community cultural wealth and fosters belonging through community-led impact. We focus on social equity, building community through shared experiences, and celebrating diverse cultures through storytelling and shared meals to create more connected and resilient neighborhoods.
Inclusion emerges from mutual respect and shared action. Neighbors become collaborators. Strangers become allies. Differences become sources of strength rather than separation. Our grassroots efforts — through service, story-sharing, and local leadership — foster belonging and empower communities to build their own solutions.
These values are not aspirational statements. They are the operating principles that shape every program, every partnership, and every act of service we undertake.
The Humble Travelers Foundation is established upon the belief that every person is a traveler — and that within those transitions lies the opportunity to build stronger, more compassionate communities. This Foundation affirms:
Every HTF initiative starts with the same question: what does this community already have, and how do we build around it? Our work takes four forms — all grassroots, all community-led, all rooted in the belief that neighbors are each other's greatest resource.
We're building in public — sharing the work, the stories, and the progress across platforms. Follow along, reach out, or just say hello.
